She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh O'Handley and Muriel Parker O'Handley. She is survived by: her husband Glen; her children, Angela Bishop of Halifax, Daniel Bishop of Kentville and Steven Bishop of Vernon; her brother Clifford O'Handley of Centreville; her friend Reg Clark of Saint John; her grandsons, Tom, Luke, Daylan, Dalton Bishop and Elliott McGloin; her great grandchildren, Lilah, Kenta, Sota, Hayden and Estelle Bishop; her goddaughter Giselle Robichaud; her grandson Lawrence Bishop; and her son Hugh James Bishop.
