It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Elvin Veinotte of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 4, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvin Veinotte and Aileen Veinotte (Oickle); his sisters, Barbara Davidson (Ralph) and Dawn Hines (George); and his brother-in-law Thomas Bishop.

He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Bishop of Caledonia; his nieces and nephews, Sharon Campbell (Garry), Stouffville, Monica Hines of Whitby, Bruce Davidson (Carol), Brampton, Thomas Davidson (Rania) and Ajax; his nieces, Amanda Boone (Jonathan), Kristy Tannis (Dwayne), Crystal and Ashley Davidson; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ethan, Owen, Emma, Ava (Boone), Abigail Campbell, Logan and Sirenia Tannis; and also Adam Campbell (Amanda).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Diabetic Association of Canada or to any other charity.
