It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Foster George Caines of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Foster George leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Foster George may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Walter and Sarah Joyce Caines (Watts). He is survived by: his wife Deborah (Ryall); his children, Lindsay and Michael (Rae); his brother Scott (Joanne); and his nephew Matthew. He is also survived by cousins and his many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the J. A. Snows Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Soul's Harbour or Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Foster.
