She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry and Alfreda (Richards); her husband Doug; her children, David and Coleen Steele; her siblings, Rose MacDonald, Barb Gerrior, Joyce Smith, Gordon Hill and Percy Hill; and her son-in-law Barrie Cleveland.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Cleveland and Gordon (MonaLee); her sister Sybil Higgins; and her son-in-law Bill Steele. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael's Catholic Church (Now Stella Maris Parish) (6 St Michaels Ave, Halifax, NS B3P1M5).
