With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Fadila Fahad Chater (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 30, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daoud Makdessi and Saada Makdessi; her children, William and Houwayda; her siblings, Ayssar, Faysal, Nabiha and Mountaha; and her sons-in-law, Toufic and Habib.
She is survived by: her spouse Fahad Chater; her children, Ibrahim Chater (Joumana), Denise Chater (late Toufic), Fahda Kennedy, Kamil Chater (Amale), Margot Chater (late Habib) and Emile Chater; and her sister Evelyne. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Lebanon Parish.
