It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Theresa Pain of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hayden and Harriett Hayden (Cole); and her husband Malcolm Pain. She is survived by: her children, Gerrianne Pain (Tony) of Saint John, NB., Darren Pain (Pamela) of Riverview, NB and Roger Pain of Halifax; her sisters, Marion of Port Coquitlam, BC and Shirley (Toronto); her grandchildren, Michael, Christoper Setchell, Katie and Jessica Pain; and her siblings, Rita, Lillian, Kenny, Raymond, Donny and William of Halifax.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cruikshank's Funeral Home (2666 Windsor St, Halifax, NS B3K5C9). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
In lieu of Flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
