It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ethel Grace Pitman of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Currys Corner, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 28, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Barker and Georgie Barker (O'Toole); her daughter Judy Corkum; her husband Malcolm "Mac" Pitman; and her siblings, Owen Barker (Norma), Arnold Barker (Claire) and Helen Rourke.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer, Olivia Pitman, Michelle Corkum, Nicole Corkum, Malcolm Pitman, Jessica, Sara Pitman and Connell Magee; and her great grandchildren, Ava and Lennox Usher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
