Ernest Gerard Behan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernest Gerard Behan of Halifax, Nova Scotia, born in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 27, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Behan and Teresa Behan (Power); his brothers, Marty, Frank and Jim; his former wife Theresa Behan (Power); his son Edward; and his stepdaughter Theresa Davey (Webster).

He is survived by: his wife Udvella (Jackie) Behan (Messervey); his son John; his grandchildren, Olivia (Ross) and Angus (Courtney); and his stepchildren, David Webster and Joyce Jennings (Wayne). He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1).
