She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lottie Russell and Oscar Russell; her daughter Laura of Halifax, NS; her husband Ronald J. McCarthy; her pet Artillery; and her siblings, Pauline Thompson, Hazel Ettinger, Frances, Olive Wheatley-Dimock, Jean McDonald, Violet Roberge, Edna Robinson, Lloyd, Thomas, Otis, Oliver, Glendon and Cedric. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, as well as cousins.
