She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Sr. Hemeon and Marion Vivian Hemeon (Smith); her brothers, Georgie and Leon; her parents-in-law, Mae Townsend and Neville Townsend; her brother-in-law Peter Townsend; and her friend Harvey Stewart.

She is survived by: her husband Leslie; her sons, Kevin and Leslie; her grandson William "Munchkin"; her siblings, Douglas, Joseph, Gale Schekochihin (Dmitry), Karen Dahr (Gary), Debbie and Carrie; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Stoddart (David), Peggy, Sylvia, Mitch (Denise), Neville (Charlotte) and Danny (Joyce).
