With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Elizabeth Joanna Gallagher (Halifax, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Elizabeth Joanna left this world on August 26, 2024 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jake MacDonald and Johanna MacDonald of Louisbourg; her husband Fred Gallagher; and her siblings, Jackie, Isabel, Moira, Jimmy, Johnny, Allister and Charlotte.

She is survived by: her children, Kathy (Doug), Carolyn (Todd) and David (Jody); her grandchildren, Laura, Sarah, Jake, Luke, Allie, Bridgid and Rowan; her siblings, Kathy (Pius) and Michael (Marilyn); and her in-laws, Terry, Peggy, Julie and Alma. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
