Eleanor Ruth left this world on November 6, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Erlin Charles Richard and Myrtle Drucilla Richard; and her brother Clyde. She is survived by: her husband Gordon Harold Wicks; her children, Sandra McIntyre, Eric Wicks and Cheryl Walker; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Wicks, James Slaunwhite, Jonathan MacIntyre, Jason MacIntyre, Andrew Walker, Danielle Walker, Ericka Wicks and Ashley Wicks; and her great grandchildren, Kennedy Chamberlain, Joshua Slaunwhite, Justin Tanner, Lily Walker, Guy Baubit and Adaline Baubit. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the J. Albert Walker Funeral Home (149 Herring Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3P1K6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
