She was predeceased by: her parents, Regina Surette (Meuse) and Jerry Surette. She is survived by: her husband Gordon MacDonald; her sisters, Bertha Ptacek of Kentville and Lucille O'Connor (Andre Thibault) of Ottawa; her nieces, Denise Peckham (Randy) and Diana Berrigan of Dartmouth; and her nephew Allan O'Connor (Robin).
