It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine (MacGowan) Fraser (Halifax, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 12, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna MacGowan (Hamilton) and James MacGowan Sr.; her brothers, Jimmy and David MacGowan; her sister-in-law Joan Angus; her significant other Lloyd Fraser; her children, Matthew Fraser (Naomi MacKinnon), Jessica Fraser-Thomas (Philip Thomas), Zachary Fraser (Ashe Lang) and Hannah Fraser (Rob Vanderwerf); her grandchildren, Islay, Isaac, Lily, Jillian, Delyth, Evan, Amelia, Ronan, Julian, Marlowe, Saskia and Penny; her sister Sandra Ellis; and her siblings-in-law, Murray Angus, Anne Fraser, Graeme Fraser, Gloria MacGowan and Marilyn MacGowan. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews.
