With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Andrew Hamilton (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Hackensack, New Jersey, who passed away on February 9, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hamilton and Irene (Boone); and his brothers, George and Kenneth. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughters, Laura Lindsay (Quintin) and Sandra Hamilton (Derek Seaward); and his grandsons, Desmond Hamilton and Brian Seaward. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
