It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hart of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 25, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Charles Beaver; her son Glen Hart (Char Drisdelle); her parents-in-law, Hazel Stella (Trueman) and Irving Hart; her siblings, Stanley, Cecil, Harold, Laverne Beaver, Kathleen Treau of Coeli, Phyllis Munroe and Beulah; her brother-in-law Joe Peters; and her sons-in-law, Arthur Johnson and Andy Schmiegel.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Osmond (Gord), Kathy Johnson (Charlie), June Schwartz (Rob), Connie Hart (Jason Angel), Jackie Schnare (Wade), Sonny (Maria) and John (Lisa Boudreau); her siblings, Cora Josey, Eva Boutilier, Charles Beaver and Foster Beaver (Betty Ann); her sisters-in-law, Lottie Beaver and Judy Beaver; and her mother Essie Beaver (Harold Burton Hart). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
