It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Eileen Poirier of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 11, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Garrison Major and Harold Brightman (Tara-Lee Flemming); her grandson Riley Brightman; her siblings, Donald Slaunwhite (Rose), Arnold Slaunwhite, Beverly Craig, Tatamagouch, Joan Clements (Wayne) and Rose Williams (Rod); her aunt Marie Morash (Terence Bay); her parents, Clyde Slaunwhite and Lillian Slaunwhite (Findley); her brothers, Irvin and Weldon Slaunwhite; and her granddaughter Olivia Brightman.
