He was predeceased by: his mother Georgina MacKenzie (Ina); his wife Fiona; his stepfather George Fitzgerald; and his half-brother George. He is survived by: his daughters, Morven and Catriona; his granddaughters, Megan and Brianna; his great grandchild Felicity; and his pets, Mia and Bailey.
A masonic service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Calvin Presbyterian Church (3311 Ashburn Ave, Halifax, NS B3L4C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Masonic Foundation of Nova Scotia High School Bursary Program, Calvin Presbyterian Church, a charity of your choosing or the gift of life through a blood donation in honor of Don.
