She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank MacKay and Marjorie MacKay (Thomson); her grandparents, Daniel, Minnie MacKay (Gower), James and Lydia Thomson (Conrad); her niece Deborah Aileen Musgrave; and her sister-in-law Janice MacKay.

She is survived by: her siblings, Patricia Tattrie (Elroy) of Lower Onslow, Linda Musgrave (Bart) of Sackville, Kelly MacKay (Angela) of Marshville and Wayne MacKay of Sackville; and her cousins, Karen, Marjorie MacKay and Debbie. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
