He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Sears and Annie Mae Sears (Welch); his siblings, Barb Crooks, Judy Richardson, Sheila Sears, Kay Manley, Cassie Ginter, Betty Walker, Mary-Ellen Loiselle, Graham, Kenny and Arthur Sears (Mannie); and his stepdaughter Tina M Herritt Arthur (Richardson).
He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Delaney and Linda Oldrieve; his sons, Trevor Sears (Elke), Berlin and Corey Sears (Janice) of Glen Haven, NS; his grandchildren, Cedric, Ryan, Adam, Tiffany and Falon; his great grandchildren, Carter, James and Sophie; and also David Richardson (Heather) of Beaver Bank, NS. He is also survived by sisters and brothers in law, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Parkinson Society Nova Scotia or the Nova Scotia Nature Trust.
