He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stanley and Lillian Mary Pelrine (Dorey); his former wife Judith Anne (Oakley); and his brother-in-law Wayne McCabe. He is survived by: his brother Albert; his wife Claire (Durling) of Halifax, NS; his daughter Jennifer Leahy (Shane) of West Bridgford, England; his stepdaughters, Sara Durling and Laura Cesana (Fabrice) of Halifax, NS; his stepgrandsons, Aidan and Mac of Halifax, NS; his sister Madeline McCabe of Halifax, NS; and his niece Cindy McCabe (Scott Parsons) of Halifax, NS.
