He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph William and Margaret Kathleen (Callahan); his girlfriend Linda; and his sisters, Amy Raftus and Mary Margaret.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Dorothy MacIsaac; his children, Lisa Patrick (Stephen), Michelle Schrader (Darren) and Blaise (Nathalie); his grandchildren, Jessica Ashland (Jake), Nathaniel, Jayna and Marlee; his great grandchild Aubree Ashland; and his siblings, Larry (Beverley), Joe, Richard (Donalda), Blair (Carolyn), Deloris Cooper (Robert) and Deborah Pellerine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
