She is survived by: her former spouse Corporal Pat Foy; her children, Peter Foy (Janice), Judy Barrington and Bonnie Cooke (Jim); her son-in-law Gino Stocchero; her grandchildren, Marco, Melanie, Christopher, Jessica, Taylor, Sade and Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Kevin and Alice; and her friend Alicia Leaman.

“Bess and her family were a very special part of your family. Growing up, we anxiously awaited a visit from Bess and Pat with their family. This usually happened when Pat would be reassigned to a new military base. Bess was able to visit my mother's 95th birthday party in Perth Ont. Uncle Earl and Aunt Mary -my parents- shared a deep love and respect with the Foy family. Bess and Pat welcomed our family to visit them in Nova Scotia. Bess is often spoken of in our family.
