It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Anne Boutilier (Halifax, Nova Scotia), born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar E Trefry and Catherine G Trefry (Clarke); her husband Robert Peter Boutilier; her siblings, Joseph Trefry (Bud) and Catherine Bell (Trefry); and her daughter-in-law Margaret Boutilier (Neaves).

She is survived by: her children, Judy Hirtle (Roy), Barbara Bleasdale (Roger) and Robert Boutilier; her grandchildren, Kate Hirtle, Carolyn Hirtle, Laura Bleasdale Wilson (John), Adam Bleasdale, Aimee Rutz (Josh) and Jeff Boutilier (Crystal); and also, Avery (Laura), Mattias, Kyla, Marissa, Eva, Adam Junior (AJ), Jeff and Emily. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
