With solemn reverence, we commemorate Aristidis Makridis (Halifax, Nova Scotia), whose life came to an end on April 17, 2025 at the age of 61, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Damianos Makridis. He is survived by: his partner Joseph Bourgeois; his mother Helen Makridis; his sisters, Maria Eleftheros (George) and Lefki Vonapartis (Yiorgos); and his nieces and nephews, Elias, Theodoros, Damianos, Panagiota, Eleni and Aristidis.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. A. Snow Funeral Home (339 Lacewood Dr, Halifax, NS B3S0E1). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. George's Greek Orthodox Church (38 Purcells Cove Rd, Halifax, NS B3N1R4).
In lieu of flowers, we would like donations to be made to the Saint Catherine's Greek Ladies.
