She was predeceased by: her husband Maynard; and her son Robert Slaunwhite (Bobby). She is survived by: her children, Lynda Boudreau (late Reuben), Diana MacInnis (late Hugh), Susan Lewis (late Mike), Amy MacIsaac (Wade) and Richard Slaunwhite (Sharon); and her caregiver Bernard.
