He was predeceased by: his parents, Allan Keilty and Bernice Keilty (McInnis); and his brothers, Ralph and Robert. He is survived by: his wife Beryl; his children, Jane (Terry) and Andrew (Marietjie); his siblings, Dr. G. C. (Pete) Keilty (Pat) and Joyce Walton; and also, Anne Vance (Cecil), Taylor (Scott), Noah Smith, Alexander and Christopher Keilty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
