He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth and Dorothy; his wife Linda Christiansen-Ruffman; his sister Gillian Danner; and his half-siblings, Mag Ruffman, Ted Ruffman and Gregory Williamson.

He co-edited Ground Zero, an anthology of contributions to the symposium that has since become a collector's item.
