Ada Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Grandy and Phoebe Grandy (Keefe). She is survived by: her husband Willis Grandy; her daughter Wendy Mason (Roger) of Vernon, BC; her child-in-law Donnie (Suzie) McCarthy; her grandchildren, Josh, Matthew, Daniel Mason of Vernon, BC, Shawna (Jay) and Kelly McCarthy of Halifax, NS; her great grandchildren, Breonna, Jaelyn, Brooklyn, Adalyn, Savannah, Myles, Mckinley, Sawyer and Everly; her daughter Sherry McCarthy; and her siblings, Jim, Onslow, Lyman, Wilbert, Newman, Annie Beatrice, Alice and Flora.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint George's Round Church (2222 Brunswick St, Halifax, NS B3K2Z3).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to St. George's Round Church.
