It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Edward Izzard of Guysborough, Nova Scotia, born in Boylston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Izzard and Mammie Izzard (Pelley); his wife Anna Mae (Horne); his sons, Ernie and Horatio; and his siblings, Leslie, Harvey, Esther, Rita, Sophie, Lola and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his children, Marina (Lawrence) of Gladys, B. C. and Ralph (Martha); his sister Vera; his grandchildren, Martin (Jenny), Kyle Tiffany (Brenden), Brenda (Marcel), Travis (Christina), Charlene, Jessica, Daniel, Lawrence (Linda), Nancy, Jennifer, Susan, Jason and Nick; his cousin Vera Pelley; his son Gary Desmond; his brother Blaine; and his niece Bonnie (Mike). He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
