It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edith Anne (Reid) Volk (Guysborough, Nova Scotia), born in Trenton, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 19, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Aulden Hensbee and Clara Hensbee (Martel); her husband Ron; her sons, Lennie (Sue), Ricky and Aulden (Barb); her stepsons, Tommy Volk and Alan Volk; her daughters, Sandy Reid, Pam Reid, Carole Smith (Lee), Darlene Peters (Phil), Joan MacDonald (John), Debra Hughes (Carl) and Bonnie Yausie (Wayne); her stepdaughters, Cheryl Elliott and Karen MacGregor; and her siblings, Joan Jordan, Delores Bailey, Betty Fraser, Elsie Hughes, Aulden Hensbee and Sheldon Hensbee. She was also cherished by 30 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
