She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Lawrence and Ruby Catherine Carter (O'Leary); her husband Doug; and her brother Wayne Carter. She is survived by: her children, Sheila Bilodeau (Michel) of Oakland, ON, Paul Jamieson (Cecilia), Queensport and Craig (Krista); her brothers, Fred Carter (Mary) and Donald Carter (Sheila); her grandchildren, Carter, Rhiane, Mathieu, Nadine and Mallory Borden; her sister-in-law Mary Anne Carter; and her niece Darlene Jamieson.

Donations in lieu may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Parish Cemetery Fund or to Eastern Memorial Hospital, Canso.
