He was predeceased by: his wife Marlene George (O'Leary); his father Joseph George; and his brother Bobby George. He is survived by: his significant other Judy Marsh; his mother Joan George (Snyder); his sons, Jason (Adrienne) and Jeffrey (Adrienne); his grandchildren, Jocelyn, Addison, Cameron, Landon, Charlie and Meara; and his siblings, Brian (Diane), Joseph (Darlene), Stanley (Angie), Donald (Toby), Derrick (Claudia), Donna (Norbert), Joan (Brian), Molly (Roger) and Nancy (Wade).

Donations in his memory may be made to St. James Anglican Church, Halfway Cove or a charity of one's choice.
