He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Harpell and Daisy Harpell (Bingley); his son Robbie Harpell; and his siblings, Brenton Harpell and Hazel Proctor (Gordie).
He is survived by: his wife Isabelle Payne; his children, Dee Kaiser (Lowell), Angie Kaiser (Kenneth), Steven Harpell, Chris Payne (Tracey) of Isaac's Harbour, Andy Payne and Alberta; his grandchildren, Kevin Reeves (Kerrissa), Rhys, Amy and Gaige; his great grandchildren, Bella, Gracie and Attie; and his brother Ralph Harpell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
