She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobias Chisholm and Helen Chisholm (Diggins) of St Francis Harbour; her husband Sherman Pettipas; and her son Lawrence Pettipas (Larry). She is survived by: her children, Brian (Paddy Boutilier), Allan (Dee MacDonald), Toby (Terri Adam), Lynn (Stephen Farrell) and Angie (Buzzy Munroe); and her grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Josh, Craig, Megan, Kyle, Krysten, Erica, Leah, Dillan, Ashley, Taylor, Caylum, Aaron, Cory, Jake and Mackenzie.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dennis Haverstock Funeral Homes (54 Queen St, Guysborough, NS B0H1N0). A funeral Mass was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the St. Francis Harbour Parish Church (4830 Hwy 344, Saint Francis Harbour, NS B0E2G0). A burial was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 3:10 PM at the St. Francis Harbour Parish Cemetery (4830 Hwy 344, Saint Francis Harbour, NS B0E2G0).
