It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Burns (Guysborough, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 21, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sr. Hartling and Mary Elizabeth "Bessie" Hartling (Rudolph); and her siblings, William, Ellsworth, Hawley, Gordon, Burton, Frank, Ida Hubley and Mary Hopkinson.
She is survived by: her husband Basil; her children, Betty Grover, Arthur Burns, Tor Bay and Daniel Burns (Tammy); her son-in-law Willard Grover; and her grandchildren, David (Renee), Darlene (Donald), Rhonda (Todd), Todd (Janice), Sheila (Rufus), Leslie (Patricia), Thomas (Ashley), Michael (Willow), Christopher (Erika), Shelly (Bartok), Sean (Sylvia) and Jeffrey (Melanie). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews.
