She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman Wadden and Kay Wadden (MacKenzie); her husband John; her uncles, Earl Wadden and Clare Wadden; and her aunt Dot Morrison.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie (Karen), Bobby (Trisha), Edmonton, Ken (Jody) and Kathy (Sam); her siblings, Joan Cooper (Don), Gertrude Upson (Ron), Sydney, Kenzie (Judy), Glace Bay and Billy (Elaine); and her close friend Brenda "Boo". She is also survived by grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorials may be made to the An Cala Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
