He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia. He is survived by: his parents, Alexander Grist and Helen Grist (Nesbitt); and his children, David (Sue), Mark (Mary), Sydney, Sandy (Mai), Brisbane, Steven (Sylvia), Michael (Wanda), Suzanne Gould (Oren) of Halifax, Liz Wojcik (Ron) of Halifax, Sarah Fadhil (Mahmood) of Halifax, Patrick of Greenwood and Robert (Mandy). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
