He was predeceased by: his parents, Grant Best and Essadora Best (Russell); and his brothers, Alden, Delmar, Harley and Sheldon.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce (Barkhouse); his children, Louise Best of Greenwood, Russell, Cambridge, Leslie and Morden; his grandchildren, Codi, Nick, Karli, Katie and Cole; and his great grandchild Ethan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
