She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Melanson and Rita Melanson (Romain); her husband Charles; and her siblings, Adolphe, Henry, James, Augustin, Nicholas, Azelle, Lorette, Bernard, Edward, Anita, May, Angelina and Hector.

She is survived by: her sons, Keenan Lewis (Kimberly Leslie), Darren Lewis (Jennifer), Washington and Stephen Lewis (Kseniya); her grandchildren, Abby, Justin and Sophia; and her siblings, Delima Theriault, Marie Melanson, Agnes Thimot (Donald) and Camille Melanson of McAdam, NB. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
