She is survived by: her children, Gardner (Glenda), Rod (Pam), Dalton (Dorothy) and Martha Barnes (Glenn); her son-in-law Garnet Higgins; her nephews, Keith Blaikie and Garnet Dickie (Frances); and her niece Karen Farnell (Greg).
