Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Alan Eugene Coakley of Greenwood, Nova Scotia, who passed away at the age of 86, on December 13, 2021. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Coakley and Gladys Coakley (Pitcher). He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Umlah; his children, Heather Ryan (Ross), Ottawa (Ont), Allana Coakley (Brad Doran), Belleville (Ont) and Craig Coakley (Maureen); his grandchildren, Alexander "Alex", Taylor, Sylvain, Natasha and Tori; his great grandchildren, Wesson and Ryder; and his siblings, Sadie Umlah (Don), Glady Burke (late Ron), John Coakley (Elaine) and James Coakley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to current provincial pandemic restrictions, it is now required to show proof of ID and full vaccination at all visitations, indoor and outdoor ceremonies.
Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia, Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity.
