She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Stella Brown (Hoare); her brother Chesley Brown; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin White, Sue Brown and Arlene MacKenzie.
She is survived by: her husband Donald "Sandy" MacKenzie; her children, Angela MacKenzie and Jason MacKenzie (Stacey); her grandchildren, Shonalee Johnson and Connor MacKenzie; and her siblings, Audrey White (late Melvin), Betty Connell, Montana, Garry Brown (late Sue), Ross Brown (Althea) and Valley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
