With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Stanley Lawrence of Great Village, Nova Scotia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Georgette; and his sisters, Edna and Patricia. He is survived by: his wife Freda (Shay); his children, Debbie (Roy Keddy), Gary (Joy Davis), Sandy (Robert Thompson), Pamela and Gordie (April Messenger); his grandchildren, Bette (Chris Geldart), Jenny (Matt McCarthy), Brittany (Josh Sroka), Tyler (Stephanie), Janelle (Jeremy Connor), Jamie, Rachel (Josh) and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Taylor (Dee), Jordan, Mia, Kai, Cru, Ryker and Max; his great great grandchildren, Dawson and Jaxon; and his brother Ross (Linda) of Oshawa, Ontario. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
