She was predeceased by: her parents, Clinton Robinson and Lela Robinson (Hudgins); her siblings, Gerald'Jackie'Robinson (Gail) and Mary Hudson; and her son-in-law Grant Potter.
She is survived by: her husband Henry; her children, Peter (Pam), Lequille, Gina Potter of Parker's Cove, Justin Gregory and Cape Breton; her grandchildren, Vashti (Collin), Kyla (Jakob), Brett Logan (Olivia) and Hannah; her great grandchildren, Ainslie, Nessa, Seamus and Brock; and her sisters, Florence Vidiksis (J. D. Manion), Barbara Rafuse and Patsy Thibbidao. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and foster children.
Donations in Wanitta's memory may be made to the Parker's Cove Baptist Church.
