She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood Oliver and Kathleen Oliver (Guest); her sons, Grant and Mark; and her siblings, Maxine Hudson, Ella McGilchrist, Floyd, Kenneth, Garnet, Elwood Jr. and Harold.
She is survived by: her husband Glen Potter; her children, Darrell (Joy), Brad (Shelley), Parkers Cove, Lana and Jane MacKay (John); her daughter-in-law Gina Potter (Parkers Cove); and her sisters, Joan, Marie and Lorraine. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.
Donations in Violas memory may be made to the Parkers Cove Baptist Church.
