He was predeceased by: his parent Alexander O'Neil; and his significant other Margie Homann. He is survived by: his parent Anita O'Neil; his son Sandy O'Neil of Sydney; his stepdaughters, Micaela Homann and Rachel Homann Buffett; and his siblings, Mary Ford, Isabel Funari (Eric), Marg MacDougall, Phyllis O'Neil, Joan Gerard (Bob), Tom O'Neil (Bonny), Maureen O'Neil, Paul O'Neil (Janet), Cletus O'Neil (Shelley), Norma O'Neil, Sandra Bray (Darryl) and Stephen O'Neil (Tammy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
