He was predeceased by: his parents, Christy Ann and Herb Chant; his wife Carol (Phillips); his children, Marlene and Brian; and his siblings, Marge, Stan, Herb, Mabel Campbell and Effie MacMullin.
He is survived by: his children, Gary (Lori) and Pam; his grandchildren, Jill, Nicole (Ewen), Kim (Anthony), Jennifer (Terry), John James, Justin, Laura Lee and Brian; his great grandchildren, Danica and Blakely; and his close friend Lorraine Barnaby.
