We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2019, at the age of 87, Westmount Josephine Ellsworth (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gallant and Jessie Gallant (MacLean); her siblings, Joe Gallant and Evelyn Syms; and her siblings-in-law, Everett Ellsworth, Lennie Ellsworth, Lindy Sims and Velma Ellsworth.

She is survived by: her daughters, Andrea Nowell Kathleen and Andrea Martelle (Rick); her grandson Avery Mills of Winslow; her daughter Renee Ellsworth of Calgary Alberta; her brother Wendell Gallant of Dartmouth; her nieces, Tanya Poirier (Vaughn) of Reserve Mines and Lenore Sprake of Glace Bay; her siblings-in-law, Caroline 'Susie' Royal (Dan) of Dominion, Ginger Ellsworth of Ontario, Elsie Ellsworth of Dominion and Basil Ellsworth of Ontario; her sisters, Adeline Gallant, Winifred "Winnie" Gallant, Dorothy "Dot" Gallant, Muriel MacNeil and Josie; and also Rannie.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer's Society.
