It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie McDonald (Glace Bay, Nova Scotia), born in Inverness, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 5, 2018, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Neil Russell; her husband Albert; and her siblings, Neil Jr. and Allie Russell. She is survived by: her parent Celia (MacEachern); her sons, Albert Jr. and Stephen Blackwood (Karen); her grandsons, Jamie Lawrence and Mike Moffatt; her sisters, Helen Marsh (late Aubrey) and Eckie Pezzarello; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Russell (Neil) and Fai Yeung (Allie); her brother Don Russell (Karen); her sisters-in-law, Louise Ranson (Wally), Patsy McDonald (Victor), Veronica, Sis and Rene McDonald (Angus); and her aunt Shirley. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
